Websites That Will Earn You Money, While Working From Home
74There are many great sites that claim that they have the capability of allowing you to make money online, by merely joining them! Some of these are survey sites, some marketing, some writing, and most recently in my list are secret shopping sites. I'm not going to claim that you can make a living by using the internet, but I'm definitely making money through these sites. The most important thing for you to understand about joining sites, is to make sure that they will really pay out, as many are frauds, or make you jump through hoops in order to even make a small portion of money. That is why I put together my list of sites that I have made money through. Basically, I did the research, so that you wouldn't have to spend your precious time trying to find one what sites will legitimately make you money online. Each of these sites, I have literally received compensation for, or know someone who has. Not a single one has made me enough money where I can make a living online, but they have been worth my time. I am only now, coming close to making enough to substitute a part-time job. I will be honest though, most my money I have made has been online through hubpages and even more recently through secret shopping sites.
Secret Shopper Sites
One thing to understand about Secret Shopper sites is you should not have to pay to get paid. Although there are sites like shadowshopper.com that will offer a great more opportunities to make money through secret shopping, but I have chosen not to take that route, as I have made money through sites where I don't have to pay. Plus I am unsure once I were to actually pay the money if it would be as profitable as they claim it would be. I still signed up for "opportunities," as they claimed that you don't have to pay to get opportunities. None have come my way though. Instead of breaking them down, I have just listed them here, since they all seem to work the same way.
SecretShopper.com
Shopperscritique.com
second-to-none.com
Each of these have offered me at least one to two shops each week that I have joined them. They all have similar payouts. They range from 0 to 30 dollars each shop that I do. The ones that pay out zero they usually compensate by paying for an item that you purchase whether it be an office item, or food item or any other product they may offer. It takes around a month or two to get paid after you do a shop, but you will eventually get paid no matter how long it takes. They offer you to be paid either through paypal, check, or direct deposit. Not all three offer all three options, but you can be paid one of these three ways.
Mypoints.com
This is the first website I enjoyed for the sole purpose of gaining money or monetary value. I have been involved in it for about seven or eight years now, and am still involved in it, because of the huge success I have with it. No you are not going to make lots of money, but you will get a 30 dollar gift card every six months for basically doing nothing.
How It Works: You sign up right on the website! You put what you are interested in in this survey they have. Then you will receive ads that they think you will be interested in. You will receive 5 points for every ad you read. If you choose to purchase, which I rarely do, they will then give you an additional bonus for that as well. Once you receive a certain amount of points, you can trade those for a gift card to such places as target, Old Navy, Applebees, Olive Garden, ToysRUs, and hundreds and hundreds more. There are so many to choose from. I just put down the ones I have been reimbursed for. They span from book places, clothing stores, restauants, grocery stores, magazine places, online gift cards, and so much more!
One thing I like to do is print off their coupons, you receive points for using the coupons! You could make a lot more than I do, but I only do the bear necessities for the site.
Hubpages, Squidoo, Xomba, and Other Article Posting Sites
Hubpages is my favorite! Having tried a few of these type of sites myself, I have found luck with hubpages hands down. Plus there is a great network of people who are willing to help you, encourage you, and teach you! The articles are more easily searchable and easier accessible. Plus, within days my hits on an article I write on hubpages have far surpassed any of the others I have tried publishing on any of the other sites. They each work slightly different.
Hubpages and Xomba link to Google Adsense, which will place ads on your articles. When people click on the ads, you make money! Very easy to use once you understand them.
Xomba is definitely one you want to use along with hubpages or other article writing service, because you can set up bookmarks that people click on. I have had minimal success with both making money and having people click from my bookmarks on Xomba to hubpages! So I have continued to use that one, even if I do not post my articles on their site any longer. I did have some success with articles on their the first few days, but my views would level out after the first couple hours.
Redgage is similar to Xomba in that you can place bookmarks on their. They pay you directly though, and you do not have to set up to another company like Google Adsense or Kontera in order to make money through its ads. I regularly use this for bookmarks and also to post photos! I have even had a chance to be featured. Just for being featured you make anywhere between 2-5 bucks instantly!
Squidoo is very much like hubpages, but I don't get nearly the same amount of hits and definitely not the same amount of clicks. It's set up more similar to Redgage, and your income goes directly to your paypal account, rather than through Adsense!

This is another great site, similar to Mypoints, but enough different it's worth your time to check out. I have already received a couple checks from them. They use several different ways to earn money:
Surveys - you can prequalify for surveys, unlike other sites, they provide a lot of different surveys and I almost always qualify for at least one each time I check out the site. They also save a lot of your information and notifies when they believe you may be eligible for one. For other survey sites - this hub breaks them down for you!
Promotional Deals - These are really awesome. You can go to sites that you would normally use anyway, and they will give you a certain percentage back. Granted, some of them are small amounts, but if you were going to use them anyway it was worth it. Sometimes you do earn up to twenty percent back of your purchase!
Games! - okay, okay, I do not actually use these, but if you love to play online games, this may be worth it!
Coupons - Yes, now you are thinking, hey they have everything. Yes, you can actually print off coupons from this site as well. I list off more coupon sites in my hub about, "Websites that Will Help You Save Money"
They payout at 30 dollars, and although I have received checks in the past, right now I'm at 21.09, to give you an idea, you really do make money with this. Not lots, but for doing stuff you'd probably do anyway, it's worth it.
I do have other sites I may add soon to this, but first I want to verify that they do in fact send those gift cards, checks, or other "guaranteed offers!" Check back, I may be adding others soon!

I hate survey sites for the simple fact that the surveys are never ending and you never can seem to know exactly when you are done. And even after 10 min on the same survey you still haven't "finished" the assignement!
Nice, informative hub!

This is great! I'm going to check some of these out right now. I found e-rewards.com is another one that offers surveys according to the profile you create. The rewards add up and you can choose to "spend" them on different things.
